About us

Presentes & Companhia was born from the dream of Teresa and Miguel, a couple from Sintra who started by selling surprise boxes from their garage — smelling of wax and wrapping paper.

Our story

In 2018, after years of hearing neighbours and tourists ask for "just one more box to give as a gift", they moved to Lisbon. They opened their shop at Praça da República, in the heart of the city, where they now curate gifts from around the world — leather wallets, artisan handbags, toys, jewellery and personalised stationery.

Teresa looks after curation and wrapping; Miguel runs the online store and deliveries. The team has grown to eight people, all Portuguese, who believe a well-chosen gift is worth more than the price tag.

Our mission

Make every occasion memorable: birthdays, graduations, Christmas or a simple thank-you. We wrap every order by hand and always reply in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
